Ombré nails

I saw this on Pinterest and thought I'd have a go!
I chose a dark blue and a silver which I blobbed onto a sponge, next to each other.
Then I dabbed it onto my nails. There were some gaps so I dabbed again- but this got rid of some of the colours. I just filled in the gaps at the bottom with some more blue from the brush.
It's so messy and got over my fingers and thumbs!

used cotton buds dipped in nail varnish remover to get rid of most of the excess.
The black star gems finished it off nicely, after a layer of clear varnish on top.

If you want to stick gems on, don't just use wet varnish as advised by loads of places! Just use nail glue! It works so much better!! :D

(Still not cleaned up very well around the edges yet! :p)

Where have the leggings gone!?

Today we went to Kidderminster to go swimming at Wyre Forest Glades leisure centre! It's good there as it has a massive beach area that's shallow and good for Willow. I also noticed that the car park outside now takes card payments which is necessary! 😀

It took ages to get into the water as Willow DID NOT want to put on her new float suit (that she chose and was really really excited about!!) 😩 in the end, after forcing the swim nappy on, I took her into the water along with the float suit. It took a while, but eventually she agreed to put it on. After it was on she didn't care and was having loads of fun! 😊
We swam for over an hour, afterwards we got changed and went back out to the car. We drove up the road to the retail park where The Range is. I love The Range as it has loads of cheap stuff and crafty stuff inside! 😀 Before we went there though, we went into Sainsbury's to get lunch. It's so good that they have a counter that does pizza that they can cook for you in store  in about 10 minutes for just £1 more! 😀  plus, I had quite a lot of nectar points (mainly from having my nectar account added to my eBay, Joe's eBay, my dads eBay... 😉), so technically it was a free shop as I paid in points! 😄

Willow used to be very picky about 'bits' and would always pick the cheese off pizza, and if it had toppings they certainly had to go!! But, we have pizza so often that she's just got used to it I think! It was so good that she ate loads with four toppings that she picked! We were only supposed to have three toppings but she asked for four, so I asked the lady how much it would cost for extra toppings and she just asked what Willow wanted, and said it didn't matter, and added it on for free! Yesssss!!! ☺️well done Willow!!
After we ate that in the car, I went to The Range, while Joe and Willow went to see the animals at the pet shop.
A few minutes later however, they found me and looked miserable. Willow had weed on Joe. 😬
We all went into the toilets and got cleaned up and changed- we were in the disabled toilet as it was also the place for baby change which was still very useful, even without nappies. Plus it meant we could all be together. We were in there for ages- mainly because Willow likes being naked and didn't want to put the new nickers and leggings on. When we finally came out, I felt bad as there was a man with a lady in a wheelchair waiting and looking a bit annoyed!
I carried on looking round and Willow went off with daddy to have a go on the escalator! 😄
A few minutes passed before they came back to me looking miserable again, she had weed on him AGAIN! She did have loads to drink though! 😛
I left my basket outside the toilets that time as I had a couple of things to buy. I also took the previous leggings and nickers out and took them in (to the ladies this time! 😉), or at least I'm pretty sure I did... The thing is, when we came out, I looked in my bag for them, so I could put them with the new wee clothes, and they weren't there. I thought I'd just dropped them in the toilets maybe, but they weren't there either!! I looked twice. Joe didn't have them, there was no way Willow had got hold of them- I would have noticed and told her not to touch them...
I searched around that whole area and they weren't there. I walked around all the places we'd walked and couldn't see them. I checked my pockets, took off my coat and checked all my clothes a few times. I emptied out my bag again, but nothing! They were gone!!
I asked a lady on the nearest till if she had been handed some "little girl leggings and nickers that are wet due to being weed in!"!! But she hadn't heard anything. She said they may have been handed into customer services- not sure anyone would have wanted to handle her wee clothes, but I asked. The man looked in the cupboard but there wasn't anything there. We have absolutely no idea what has happened to these clothes! We went back a few times to look in the toilets again... 😞 they are lost and I don't know why I feel so bad and upset about it! As we were about to go out of the shop, I asked another man who was working in that area at the time of the mystery disappearance, but he said he didn't know anything. He said he'd go and have a look, and he did. But either forgot he was looking after a few seconds, or chose to be a bit rude by chatting to a colleague and unloading more plastic boxes instead of coming back to me to say they've gone.

If you see these leggings and some purple nickers, both in size 3-4 years, and smelling of wee, please send them off to me!
Joe thinks that either someone saw them, liked them and stole them for their child, or (more likely) a worm hole opened up and took them out of existence as we know it.

Where actually are they!?!?!?!?!?!??!!??!!???????!!!???

Me, now...

Last night I went out for a meal with Amy, my sister in law.
We were supposed to go to pizza express, but they told us that there was a 45 minute wait! We were hungry so decided to go somewhere else. After walking past some nice places, we decided to just go to Pizza Hut! :)

We spoke for hours and hours and I had a really good time! It was so nice to spend time with her, without everyone else. It was especially nice that she actually asked me out- I seem to do all the asking when it comes to arranging things. People used to ask me to go for meals or the cinema, but since Willow was born (two and a half  years ago!!),  I seem to have been written off! :p
I was a bit upset by this, but a few weeks ago I decided to stop thinking like this and go back to being HAPPY!! :D
So far this month I've been out for three meals and seen my best friend (in Worcester); Emma, loads!
So last night, Amy told me she started doing a blog and I looked it up today and thought it was really good! I started to think of all the things that I could write about and decided to start one too!

I am 27 years old, live in Worcester with my husband Joe, and daughter Willow! We also live with pickle who is our house rabbit! (I know the picture shows him out side! That was his first time on the grass! :D)

I used to work in a call centre but got made redundant last year. I decided to go back to college and do an access course which I have just completed at an a level equivalence A's! :) it was very difficult and I worked so so hard! But it has paid off as I am going to start my course at Wolverhampton university to do children's nursing!! :D 1400 people applied for the 25 spaces and I got in!

There is a lot more I can say about myself, just wait and see! ;)

I am currently planning Joe's birthday which is on Saturday!
